It is early days in the golfer of the year competition. In the Gents section Jim King is in the lead with 27pts joint second on 15pts is Muris Flynn and Enda McDermott. In the ladies section in joint first place is Mary King and Dolores Mulvey 27pts and in 3rd place on 16pts is Carmel Stritch on 16pts.
