Albert hogs the Christmas limelight
The last competition before Christmas was held last Thursday, 23rd December and aptly enough, given his wonderful work over the past two difficult years, the outgoing Captain, Albert Hogg won with a score of 40 points. Gerry Emmett was second with 39 points and Kevin O’Rourke was third with 37 points. Michael Duignan kept up his streak of winning one of the nines and he won the prize for the front nine once more with a score of 18 points. On one of his rare outings, Sean Duignan, won the prize for the second nine with a score of 20 points. We wish all the senior golfers a swinging new golfing year in 2022 and looking forward to seeing you all splitting the fairways soon.
