MK tops up finances with a win.
There was no competition on Thursday, 9th December as the course was closed due to the bad weather. However, there was a great attendance at the clubhouse in the afternoon for the Christmas dinner and the presentation of the annual prizes, including the hampers. The meal provided by Charlie and staff was delicious and after the meal the outgoing Captain, Albert Hogg made the presentations. The golf competition was back in swing on Thursday, 16th December and Michael Keville took first prize with a fantastic score of 42 points. Tied on 38 points were Seamus Mulhern and Leo Kavanagh with Mulhern taking second place on a countback, leaving Kavanagh in third place. Michael Duignan won the prize for the front nine with 19 points (better not to mention his back nine) and Mick Foley won the back nine with 19 points also.
