  • CARRICK CARNIVAL LADIES OPEN DAY:
    Carrick on Shannons big festival is fast approaching and we’re joining the fun!! We’ve a sizzling Ladies Open Day on Friday June 10th.     GRAFTERS HAIR STUDIO STABLEFORD:
    With 35pts Carmel Stritch has her first win of the season. She is followed in second by Ann Keenan(33pts)with Attracta O’Connor also 33pts in third.
    D&D INSURANCE:
    This week’s competition is again Stableford. If rain holds off, course should be playing well for some good scores!!
    INTERCLUBS:
    Congrats to our Minor Cup team who following a 3-2 win over Roscommon, now face Mountbellew.

MAY 16th:

  • EIMEAR GALLAGHER PROJECTS ABROAD:
    Don’t forget classic fundraiser this Saturday for very worthy cause. Book online. Starting July 9th Eimear will be joining Projects Abroad to spend four weeks in Arusha, Tanzania, working in an orphanage or day centre. Her duties will involve anything from renovating or painting a building to more care based activities. A good deal of her time will be spent teaching English as Tanzanians are beginning to recognise the benefits of this language. As this experience is unpaid, Eimear will need to cover costs for things like flights, the Projects Abroad programme fee and vaccinations.  Best of luck Eimear!!

  • MURPHY CUP:
    As always this fundraiser for the Northwest Hospice sponsored by the family of the late Damien Murphy was well supported.
    It was a definitive win for Dolores Mulvey (42pts) followed by Attracta O’Connor (35pts). Visitor Vera Waters Blacklion (33pts) with Gross to Siobhan Talbot. In
    4th Mary King (33pts), 5th Teresa Kenoy (33pts) and 6th Ger Prendiville (32pts).
  • INTERCLUBS:
    On Saturday Junior Foursomes captained by Phil Mc Weeney play Castlerea in Roscommon. On Sunday the Challenge Cup team captained by Dolores Mulvey play Boyle. Best of luck to both teams.

APRIL 25th:

  • MARIA TALBOT PERPETUAL TROPHY
    The season is now officially started and we have our first winners! Congratulations to Lorna Baker, in 2nd Esther Feely, Gross Hillary Collins, 3rd Dolores Mulvey. Category 30-36  Geraldine Prendiville Front Nine Brenda Kelly and finally Back Nine Siobhan Talbot.
  • KING AND MOFFATT SPRING SPREE
    The cards are in and team scores have been totted. The winning team are Ann Cox Esther Feely and Ann Campbell. 2nd to Carmel Stritch Dolores Mulvey and Molly Daly with 3rd to Siobhan Talbot Gabrielle Madsen and Attracta O’Connor.

APRIL 11th:

  • WINTER ALLIANCE CAPTAIN’S DAY:
    This weekend marked the end of this year’s Winter Alliance. Thanks to Captains Frances Molloy and Mary Molloy for their hard work over the winter months. Frances and Mary would like to say sincere thanks to everyone for their support and to the Bunker Bar for providing tasty, warming sustenance before and after each fixture.
    Captains Day winners: Frances Molloy in first, followed by Renee Dolan in second. Gross to Phil Emmett and third to Dolores Mulvey.
